Contra Returns Review

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today I’m going to review the latest contra game via mobile phone and its Contra Returns.

The game is a “remake” of the classic arcade game and to be quite honest it looks good and the levels and music are not bad. Everything else no, the controllers don’t feel right, the aim is not on point and when was the last time in any Contra game that you had to reload your weapons during the middle of the game is the classic run and gun game. Not only that but to unlock the next levels you have to level up via doing online games and such. After a week of playing this, I was done with this and got it off my phone. I don’t know what is going on with Konami dropping the ball on this, but come on you can do way better than this Konami.

Contra Returns may have the Contra name on it but not the heart and soul of what made these games worth playing.
