Another year and a new Predator mini-series with Ed Brisson back writing and this time we have Netho Diaz, Belardino Brado, Victor Nava, and Erick Arciniega being the art team in this new mini-series.

I’ll cut to the chase here and say this, this storyline has a lot of the same storyline from the 2010 film Predators, in which a group of humans are dropped into a planet and are being hunted by predators. There are a few tweaks here and there, but in the end, it has the same feel and vibe as that film. The story for what it is, it’s not bad, not the greatest but not the worst I have ever read so far in terms of all the years I have read the Predator comic series. The one thing I did like was the nice twist in the end, didn’t expect that.

The art and coloring in this mini-series are great. The art team as a whole did a top-notch job bringing this series environment alive and compared to last year’s mini-series, it’s on par with it and I hope it does in the next issues as well.

Overall Predator: The Preserve is an ok read, hopefully, the story picks up in the next issue.
