Netflix Cancel Bone and Other Animation Series

Well, today is a sad day, for many of us who are fans of Jeff Smith’s beloved series “Bone”. Netflix announced that due to a massive loss in revenue, Bone and other animated series were canceled and Jeff Smith himself posted on Twitter saying “Never Again” and with that, we will never see any kind of Bone animation series ever. The other series that were canceled were Lauren Faust’s Toil and Trouble and Roald Dahl’s The Twist, while Netflix says The Twist is still alive, I highly doubt it.

This is all sad news and I feel Netflix threw its animation department under the bus and I don’t get it. Its animation department has been on a huge roll with hit series after hit series, now with this, the future is very unclear for not only Netflix but for everything under this brand umbrella.
