Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to review the latest retro collection release from Konami and this time it’s the Castlevania Advance Collection. ()

This collection consist of the three Castlevania games that were released in 3 years from 2001-2003 on the Gameboy Advance (GBA for short) with a bonus game and they were:

Circle of the Moon (2001)
Harmony of Dissonance (2002)
Aria of Sorrow (2003)
Dracula X (2005)

While Dracula X is an ok game and shows what the series was before Symphony of the Night, the three GBA games showed us where the series is heading whether we like it or not. The GBA games were excellent in their own right and while Harmony of Dissonance is a great game, Circle of the Moon and Aria of Sorrow are considered to be the best out of the three and worth the price alone.

Not only do you get the four games, but you also get an encyclopedia of game items and such, but you also have a wonderful art gallery, the games soundtrack, the Japanese, North America, and Pal version of the games and so much more. The in-game features that I would say this is a great entry for anyone who wants to get into playing this series.

Castlevania Advance Collection is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
