Neo Turf Masters Turns 25

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to look at the best golf game that ever hit the arcade scene that turns 25 and that game is Neo Turf Master.

The game was created by Nazca Corporation and was released on the Neo Geo MVS in 1996 and later that year Nazca Corporation would also release Metal Slug. This fast-paced gold game had something that other golf games didn’t have at the time and that is depth in terms of stats each of the six characters had. Each character had stats that made you think before you pick who you wanted to play as, not only that but the choice of the golf course plays a part as well.

The graphics and animations here are wonderful and have aged well over the past 25 years. The gameplay is still one of the best in terms of golf and one can say it can rival the likes of the Hot Shot Golf series and even the EA PGA series as well. The music and sound here are iconic and wonderful and also aged well.
