Ahoy Captain Cats here and today I’m going to review a graphic novel from Europe Comics which is unexpected and the graphic novel is Love Love Love Vol 1: Yeah Yeah Yeah.

The series is created by Belgium scriptwriter Kid Toussaint and artist Andres Garrido and this pairing work perfectly. The series is set in a dystopian world where robots have no rights at all, they can’t have any type of jobs, no cell phones and they can’t even update themselves. Not only that but they all live in crowded ghetto neighborhoods and while all of this is happening, in the background a revolt is on the brink of happening. During all of this, we meet our protagonists an android named Karel, and a human named Elle who happen to fall in love.

From beginning to the end of Vol 1 Toussaint and Garrido did a wonderful job bringing this series’ world to life. From a storytelling point of view, it’s great, it has this human element in that this could have happened or is happening right now in the real world. The art is beautiful as it is marvelous, from the character design, the world’s environment, and so on, Garrido did this series justice.

This is a great graphic novel and I hope they can release Vol 2 sometime shortly if you are a fan of these kinds of stories, art style, and overall European comics, this is a must-have for your collection.
