Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to look at what went down on at this year Gamescom 2020.

This year Gamescom went all digital due to whats going on in the world with the Corona Virus. From the 27 till the 30 of August the world saw game trailers of the usual suspects of gaming such as Call of Duty, Star Wars, World of Warcraft, Age of Empires, and so on. While we did see new game trailers and gameplay from games such as Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Crash Bandicoot 4, Doom Eternal, Fall Guys, and Dragon Age, we did see some other games as well such as Konrad’s Kittens, Unto the End, 8-Bit Adventures 2 and Turrican 30th anniversary project.

Gamescom also did have a bit of everything as well such as cosplay, indie gaming, retro gaming, a campus for both education and careers and so on which is something that is great but also wished that some of the videos that were in German had English subtitle so I could understand what were they were talking about and the subject of the video as well.

Overall Gamescom was good while showing a lot of trailers for games, most of the games were either new entries for current game series, DCL content, or expansion set. Yes, they did have other things to offer outside gaming but at the end of the day, the gaming community will focus on the gaming content and decide if it is worth investing in or not.
