Horror and Spooky Comics to Read for Halloween

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today I have some recommendations for you to read on Halloween.

Archie Horror Comics
For the past few years, Archie Comics has been on a roll with the horror comics and this year they are on top again. Blossoms 666, Archie vs Predator 2, Jughead the Hunger vs Vampironica and Chilling Adventures in Sorcery are worth the read for Halloween.

Ice Cream Man
Out of all of what Image has pop put this year, Ice Cream Man is one of those comic books that have you can’t judge a book by its cover written all over it. The one-shot short stories with the art and color to go with this series just screams read me if you dare.

Beasts of Burden
What do you get if you had Evan Dorkin, Sarah Dyer, Mike Mignola, Jill Thompson, Benjamin Dewey, Jason Arthur and Nate Piekos working on a series? The answer would be the Eisner Award-winning series Beasts of Burden. If you like animals, horror stories and everything in between, then this series is just for you.

DCEASED
Lastly, with the last issue coming out this Wednesday, DCEASED has been a good read so far and to me better than the Marvel Zombie series. This series has seen a lot of gut-punching moments and wonderful writing, what better way to spend Halloween than reading this series.
