Ahoy Captain Cats here and today I’m going to talk about the final trailer to DC and Warner Bros. (WB for short) upcoming film Joker.

Comparing to the first trailer, which was more of a teaser trailer, we saw a glimpse of what we were going to see, and this trailer showed us so much more. We see Joaquin Phoenix from beginning to end in this trailer very lonely, very sad, and very troubled. We also see him being treated as if his life was worth nothing as he was beaten, punch, hurt, and emotionally drained. We also see Robert De Niro and Zazie Beetz here as well, and they were also fantastic here as well. The setting of this film also has this vibe to it, and you can’t help but being suck into it and being there yourself. At the end of this trailer, it felt like if Martin Scorsese made this film secretly and didn’t want to tell anyone.

Joker will be shown at the Venice International Film Festival, then at the Toronto International Film Festival and New York Film Festival before its October 4 release.
