Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats here, and today I’m going to review the latest episode of DOOM PATROL which is “Danny Patrol.”

The episode main story is about Larry and Cyborg helping a sentient, genderqueer street with the ability to teleport anywhere in the world who name is Danny Street or Danny for short, who was the highlight of the episode. While that is going on Cliff and Rita go and try to help out Jane who is Karen, one of her many personalities who has the power of making people fall in love in here. We go back to Danny who tells the other half of the team about the Bureau of Normalcy and Larry shows in flashbacks about what they did to him in the past. With the help of Maura Lee Karupt, a drag queen who was an agent for the Bureau name Morris Wilson, they fight back and save Danny and the people who live with Danny. While all of that is going on, we see what’s going on with Karen, which ended very badly and we know the outcome of this which leads into next week episode.

“Danny Patrol” was an excellent episode, as I said before Danny was the highlight of the episode, from start to finish Danny was a joy, from the messages to how Danny interacts with everyone, he was the star of this episode. The music piece was also great as well; Alan Mingo Jr also shine in this episode as well, Alan is the second guest actor who stole the show, the first being Mark Sheppard as Willoughby Kipling. If “Danny Patrol” had a theme, it would love yourself and stand up for who you are and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Next week episode is “Jane Patrol” and I think with will be one crazy trip, no pun intended.
