DOOM PATROL “Therapy Patrol” Review

Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats here, and today we are going to review the latest crazy adventures of the DOOM PATROL and this week its “Therapy Patrol.”

This episode all took place on the same day, but from different points of view. We first see Rita have to deal with finding out who is Rita and what is she going to do once she finds the answers to that simple question. Next, we see Larry reliving his affair with John and trying to figure out what it all means. We see next Cyborg finding out about an online dating profile and seeing how people unpleasantly react to him. We are shown how Jane struggles to understand with the personalities inside her and Robotman seeing what has been going on with his child’s life without him and it gets him very upset to find out who she calls “dad.” Soon after he said that the team needs to have a “Therapy session” so not only they can express how they feel about what’s going on with each other lives but to bond as a team as well. At the end of the episode we see a new villain in the form of “Admiral Whiskers,” and all I have to say is wow.

This episode was a great setup episode to what is next for the team. We see what makes them tick and what they have to live with and keep it to themselves. I think with this, this humbles the team and we feel for them even more, and it works on all the right levels.

Next weeks episode for DOOM PATROL is “Danny Patrol,” and I can guess who going to make its DCU premier.
