Disney to release 101 Dalmatian Street later this year – 101 Dalmatian Street is a modern take on the classic Disney franchise, 101 Dalmatians. Passion Pictures, who are one of the premier animation studio in the UK, is working on the series and as of now, is being released in Europe, the Middle East and Africa currently and the rest of the world will see this new series later this year and maybe on Disney +.

New animated series in development in France – TFOU France, a French children tv program block as announced they have three new series being developed for its animation block. According to Animation Magazine the three series are in development are aiming for kids between the ages of 4-10. The name of these series are:

  • Gus– a small boy who wants to be known as the greatest knight in the kingdom of Karamel.
  • Imago– a new take on the Thousand and One Night tales.
  • Mille Bornes– a series that is based on a famous board game of the same name with an action comedy element to it.

No word yet on when they will be releasing and if they will be shown overseas as well.

Netflix will release “Klaus” in Cinemas. – After winning big this year at the Oscars with “Roma,” Netflix is going to try to win another one, but this time in animation. According to Animation World Network they are going to release their first ever film in cinemas to qualify for an Oscar nod. The film named “Klaus” will be created and directed by “Despicable Me” creator Sergio Pablos and will be ready for this year’s holiday season.
