Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats here! Today we are going to review the Neo Geo Mini International Version, but do not worry it won’t be a very long review.

Like the Neo Geo Mini Japanese Version that we review earlier, the International Version has the same build, screen size, button setup and so on. There are a few differences to the International Version that make it stand out on it own. Here are the differences:

  • The color on the machine is blue and white; the Japanese Version is blue and red.
  • The button color on the International Version is all gray with a start and select button is blue and yellow, and the joystick is all black, the Japanese Version button color are red, yellow, green, and blue the start, and select buttons are light gray, and the joystick is red and white.
  • There are 15 different games on the International Version, and the International Version is more action game focus than the Japanese Version, which was fighting game focus.
  • The International Version will have the entire Metal Slug, King of the Monsters, and Shock Troopers arcade series and for the first time Crossed Swords.

The International Version, just like the Japanese Version is a great buy, it has the same pros and cons like its counterpart, but as we said before, in the end, it’s worth it.
