Manga artist Momoko Sakura, the creator of Chibi Maruko-chan, passed away on August 15, she was 53 years old. According to The Japan Time the cause of her death was from breast cancer. Momoko made her debuted in 1984, and in 1986 she introduces her famous series “Chibi Maruko-chan” to the world. The manga series was telling the everyday life of Momoko when she was a child. The series went on to become a national and international smash hit ans soon released the following:
