Diamond to Stop Distribute New Comics Due to Corona Virus

Ahoy Captain Cats here and I have some sad news to report.

From an official press release from Steve Geppi, chairman and CEO of Diamond Comic Distributors (DCD for short), has stated the following:

• No new products (comics, collectibles, graphic novels, etc.) that were going to be distributed by DCD in the UK as of March 25 till further notice.
• No new products (comics, collectibles, graphic novels, etc.) that were going to be distributed by DCD in the USA as of April 1 till further notice.
• No new products (comics, collectibles, graphic novels, etc.) that were going to be distributed by Alliance Game Distributors in the USA as of March 24 till further notice.

This is a huge blow to the comic industry, your local comic shops and of course DCD. The longer this will go on, the more money will be lost to everyone in this industry and we might start to see the end of the beginning of the end to the comic book industry as we know it.
