Festival De Cannes Postponed

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today another event has been postponed due to the Corona Virus.

According to an official press release, the Festival de Cannes or the Cannes film festival has been postponed. Here is what the Festival de Cannes Team has stated:

“Today, we have made the following decision: The Festival de Cannes cannot be held on the scheduled dates, from May 12 to 23. Several options are considered in order to preserve its running, the main one being a simple postponement, in Cannes, until the end of June-beginning of July, 2020.” – Festival de Cannes Team

The film festival was first introduced back in 1946 when it was known as the International Film Festival and has since then played a huge role in both the film industry and influences other awards ceremony in all parts of the world.
