Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to talk about a new entry to the first family of the odd and macabre and they are The Addams Family.
The newest take of the Addams clan has them looking like how they were first published in The New Yorker from 1932 till their creator and head Addams himself, Charles Addams passed away in 1988. The newest cast is an all-star of actors and actresses lending their voices to bring the Addams to life and here are a few names you might recognize:
- Oscar Isaac as Gomez Addams
- Charlize Theron as Morticia Addams
- Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley Addams
- Chloe Grace Moretz as Wednesday Addams
- Nick Kroll as Uncle Fester
- Bette Midler as Grandma
- Conrad Vernon as Lirch
- Snoop Dogg as Cousin It
Initially, the film was set to release on October 18, but moved up to October 11 of this year, due to on October 18 Maleficent: Mistress of Evil opening on that date. This was a smart move, and I think this new Addams Family film will be a delight to old and maybe new fans to this series.
