Image Comics Turn 30

The year was 1992 and I was 10 years old when I first saw and own Spawn #1 it was my first encounter with Image comics. I didn’t know at the time what was Image comics history and such, but back then I didn’t know how much they would impact comics in such a way and they still do now over 30 years later.

Over the past 30 years Image had released so many classic series such as Spawn, Witchblade, Astro City, Battle Chasers, Stray Bullets and so many more. During the 2000’s they came out with the likes of The Walking Dead, Invincible, Paradigm, Powers, Strange Girl, and Girls. Image also opens up the doors for international creators to come and create and publish a lot of their works that many of us would have never seen. Image wasn’t afraid to make the bold choices and at times they were even trendsetters and they still are.
