Taito Announced the Egret II Mini

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today legendary video game company Taito announced their mini arcade machine and it based on their classic arcade machine the Egret II Mini.

Taito not only just flexed their gaming muscle but they also set the bar on how a mini arcade should be. The Egret II Mini has the following specs that set it apart from the rest:

• 5-inch LCD (4:3) that you can rotate 90 degrees 
• Will have built-in Micro Switches that depends on the game will be either eight or four gate
• Will have a built-in SD card slot and a dedicated SD card with more games that are sold with an expansion set.
• Three different controllers will be sold, one that is an arcade stick, the second is a handheld controller, and lastly a controller that has a built-in trackball and paddle.

As for now, there is no word if it will be sold outside of Japan and there is a release date of March 2, 2022. We will let you know if we get more information on it.
