Cyberpunk 2077 Lost at the BAFTA Games Awards

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today some more bad news for CD Projekt Red Cyberpunk 2077.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts or BAFTA for short just has their 2021 games awards and one of the biggest winners of the night was Hades with 5 wins, while Cyberpunk was nominated with 4 lost all of them. In case your wonder what categories they were here is the four with the winners:

• ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENT- HADES
• NARRATIVE – HADES
• PERFORMER IN A LEADING ROLE – LAURA BAILEY as Abby in The Last of Us Part II
• PERFORMER IN A SUPPORTING ROLE -LOGAN CUNNINGHAM as Hades, Achilles, Poseidon, Asterius, Charon, and the Storyteller in Hades
  

In case you’re wondering about the lead role and supporting role it was CHERAMI LEIGH as Female V and CARLA TASSARA as Judy Alvarez. While CP2077 did win tons of awards in 2020, you have to remember it was before the official release date and we saw what happened there. Also on a side note, CDPR was nominated before for The Witcher 3 and lost all of them as well.
