The TurboGrafx-16 Mini Has be Postpone

Ahoy Captain Cats here and have some sad news to report for those who were waiting for the release of the TurboGrafx-16 Mini.

Konami has released a statement regarding the release of the TurboGrafx-16 and it states the following:

“We thank you for your continued support towards our products and services.

Regarding the TurboGrafx-16 mini console and its peripheral accessories, the manufacturing and shipping facilities in China have encountered an unavoidable suspension due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. As a result, the delivery of all TurboGrafx-16 mini products, which was originally scheduled for March 19th, 2020, will be delayed until further notice.

We deeply apologize to our customers for the significant inconvenience, and we humbly ask for your understanding and patience while we keep our close attention on the situation. We are investing all of our efforts to deliver the TurboGrafx-16 mini as soon as possible, and will provide further details on the deliver timing once confirmed.” Konami

The Corona Virus has struck again with many events now either postponing, canceling or rescheduling all events all over the world and now with the postponing of the TG16, it is going to be hard for manufacturing and selling products that are made in areas that have been affected by the Corona Virus. We’ll keep you up to date on when Konami will say when they will release the TG16.
