Beaststar has an official premiere date. In the latest promotional video by Toho Animation, The series will be official date will be October 8. The PV also gives us a taste of the opening theme song is titled “Wild side” by ALI. Beastar will be on Netflix in Japan on the 8th, then on Fuji TV +Ultra block and TV Nishinippon on the next day. This is one of the anime that is a must-watch for the anime fall season and could be a shoe-in for anime of the year.

Another fall anime series that has an official premiere date is Hi Score Girl 2. According to its official twitter account that the series will be on October 25 on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11. The series will take place in 1996, five years after the first season which took place in 1991. This series was one of many huge hits last year and was a love letter to the Japanese arcade scene in the 90s.

Lastly for today is the announcement of a feature film from an under the radar series and its Kenji Sonishi’s Meow Meow Japanese History.
