Bethesda re-releases DOOM 1,2, and 3, but with a catch.

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today I got some news for you. Over the weekend Quake Con was going on, and there was some news that went on, like for starter there was the live keynote for this year Quake Con, and the release date for DOOM ETERNAL which is November 22 of this year and new gameplay footage. The biggest news is that Bethesda is re-releasing DOOM 1, 2, and 3 on all current systems.

While the re-release of DOOM 1-3 is excellent news, but there is a catch with the game. I went and pay for DOOM 1 on my cell phone for $5. Once I finished downloading it and open it up, they want me to create a Bethesda.net account just so I can play it offline, really Bethesda!

Numerous video game news sites also reported about this as well, and I don’t get what they are thinking. If I was you and you want to play DOOM 1-3, it’s easy to find old copies online, less of a hassle and Bethesda.net account free.
