EVO JAPAN 2019

Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats here. Next month one of the biggest video game tournaments in the gaming community will start of the 2019 tournament scene, and that is EVO Japan 2019. The Evolution Championship Series: Japan or EVO Japan for short is a branch off of the main EVO, which is held in Las Vegas, Nevada every year. EVO Japan will be at the Fukuoka Kokusai Center in Fukuoka City in Japan. As for the fighting game line up here is the main tournament games that will take center stage this year:

2. Blazblue Cross Tag Battle
3. Soulcalibur VI
4. The King Of Fighters XIV
5. Street Fighter V Arcade Edition
6. GUILTY GEAR Xrd REV 2

More games will be announced soon before the start of the event, which is February 15-17. Another news is that EVO Japan will be collaborating with last year’s summer hit anime series Hi Score Girl. Hi Score Girl is a love letter to the entire 90’s arcade scene. They will announce what the collaboration with the series will be on a later date.
