John Wick 4 Has A New Release Date

Ahoy Captain Cats here and we got some good and bad news for you all and it’s about John Wick.

Lionsgate announced that John Wick 4 will not be released on May 21, 2021, but it also the same release date as The Matrix 4, and now its new release date is May 27, 2022, during that year’s Memorial Day Weekend.

While we have to wait for 2 more years for the film to be released, this could be a good thing. Keanu Reeves was four weeks in filming The Matrix 4 before it was shut down due to the Corona Virus and before that he was doing voice recording for Johnny Sliverhand in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 video game which was pushed back to later this year for the release date. The next year and half the cast and crew for John Wick 4 can put their time and make it into an even better film then they were going to do before the Corona Virus started to put the world on hold.
